Before starting her business in 1994, Sam completed a journalism cadetship and worked in newspapers, marketing and communications.
Although she now works mainly as a workplace writing trainer, food is her passion.
Her food writing began over 25 years ago when she wrote restaurant reviews for the Sunday Territorian newspaper. It continues today with reviews and articles for Qantas, QantasLink and Jetstar in-flight magazines, Qantas Travel Insider website and Gourmet Traveller magazine.
She posts occasionally on Instagram @sammymccueeats – and sometimes remembers to take a photo before she starts eating.
